An attempt to organize Mo quilters was made in l984 but did not come to fruition. This newsletter is
dated October 1988 and the first planning meeting was held in Columbia, MO on May 19, l989. This
planning meeting was called "Spring Fling" and the first fall retreat was held in Sedalia, MO in
October 1989 (it was really a great one, too). There was also a contest for a logo design that was to
be submitted by Mar 15, l989.
