8. Starburst block


I found an interesting sort of "freehand" block that uses up scraps (always a great thing).

Of course put the blocks together and you have a very interesting quilt. Especially I think an interesting baby quilt.

That pivotal center seam where all the seam allowances come together has to be a bit of a challenge, but she says
she presses really hard with her iron to tame it.
